The 2022-2023 Executive Alumni - BNSS Engineering Club

As the 2022-2023 academic year draws closer to an end, the club executives would like to extend a message to future club members and distinguished executives who have yet to carry our STEM legacy forward. It has been an incredible journey from the start, and we executives have developed as many skills as you have following the club’s establishment. To those who came to the weekly meetings to bring our projects forward, modelled their rockets and attended the thrilling launch sessions, and even those who attended none other than the one-and-only club photo meet, we thank you for your initiative and participation. Each one of your efforts has helped move the club forward in some way or another. With that, the new executive team is underway and will begin their introductions promptly. Roy Luo

Founder and President

Roy Luo

Roy has a wrenching passion for cars and will be attending The University of Waterloo to study Electrical Engineering this fall. He enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring new places and adores small coffee shops where connections can be made over a warm cup of espresso. As Roy prepares for the next chapter in his academic journey, he is eager to continue making new connections and expanding his horizons.

Jaedyn Van Horn

Jaedyn Van Horn

Jaedyn has been the co-founder of the Engineering Club this year and plans to study Biomedical Engineering in post-secondary!

Logistics and technology

Elsie Li

Elsie is an avid computer/coding enthusiast and has secured a spot in Software Engineering at the University of Waterloo 😮 She also happens to be the President of Student Government at North and has volunteered at several environmental and educational initiatives.

Ayden Nguyen

Mechanical/Technology Executive

Ayden Nguyen

Ayden first kindled an interest for engineering through the spectacle of flight and attained his Private Pilot's License through the Air Cadet program to further his aviation interests. During his free time, you can find Ayden photographing the landscapes around him, coding this website, flying his drone, or cycling the Vancouver Seawall. Ayden plans to study Engineering at the University of British Columbia, and transfer to the University of Toronto to attain his Masters in Aerospace Engineering!
